IBPHO - Ibrahim Miah is a UK based Fine Art and Commercial Photographer, who specialises in fashion and events. He is currently studying Commercial Photography in Arts University Bournemouth.
One of his driving points towards photography is composition and that comes from his time growing up playing Minecraft and caring about symmetry in the game. Another driving point of his is his use of vibrant colours to make photos stand out which is very present in his work. His biggest inspiration doesn't come from a photographer but rather a Cinematographer who by Wes Anderson whose style is very clean and minimalistic.
His history with photography starts from childhood with him growing up with a father who was a wedding photographer and also having a tech family which helped him get to where he is today but he decided to pick up photography himself in 2014 with GCSE Photography. Due to his father doing wedding photography, his father sometimes asked him to help out with it to gain experience which he did and this lead him to eventually do events himself and even for the NHS.
Miah happens to have an interest towards film so he likes to input his interests towards his fashion work by making his photographs look cinematic which he does so by editing and also directing the subject to stand at a certain spot to create a narrative for his photographs. Outside of photography his interests include gaming, watching sports, visual media and fashion. But he likes to implement his interests into his work very subtly.
